Low income families and seniors are encouraged to call the food pantry in their district to check for distribution times. To be eligible, families must reside in one of the 7 Community Development Districts in the City of Oakland. Proof of residence in the CD district of distribution is required. (Proof of residence includes California Driver’s License, Military ID card, welfare or food stamps ID, utility bills or other mail). Food is given out on the specified date only, on a first come, first served basis.
