Won’t dispense ice, moisture in dispenser area, ice chute door broken

CUSTOMER COMPLAINT: Will not dispense ice and/or moisture in dispenser area.

CAUSE: Excess spring tension on the ice door hinge tabs causes them to fatigue and break. The ice chute door may dislodge and not open or close completely, preventing ice from being dispensed. Also, moisture may accumulate in the dispenser housing and ice chute because the ice door is not sealing.

CORRECTION: An ice chute door hinge tab repair kit is available, part number 8201756. This repair process and kit can be used for all dispenser housings on Whirlpool built SxS refrigerators or KitchenAid built-in refrigerators from 1997 to present. Follow the instructions provided with the kit.

Refrigeradores de dos puertas con despachadores Todos los modelos con despachador de refrigeradores de dos puertas con los códigos de serie SR36 a SS27 y los refrigeradores empotrados de KitchenAid con código de serie QR31 a QS41

No despacha hielo, hay humedad en el área del despachador, la puerta del conducto de hielo está rota

QUEJA DE LOS CLIENTES: No despacha hielo y/o hay humedad en el área del despachador.

CAUSA: La tensión excesiva del resorte en las lengüetas de las bisagras de la puerta de hielo hace que se fatiguen y rompan. La puerta del conducto de hielo puede descolocarse, sin poder abrirse o cerrarse por completo, impidiendo así el despacho. Asimismo, la humedad se puede acumular en el recinto del despachador y en el conducto de hielo ya que la puerta de hielo no queda sellada.

CORRECCIÓN: Está disponible un juego de reparación de las lengüetas de las bisagras de la puerta del conducto de hielo, pieza número 8201756. Este proceso y juego de reparación puede ser usado para todos los recintos de despachador en refrigeradores de dos puertas de Whirlpool o en los refrigeradores empotrados de KitchenAid desde 1997 al presente. 76 Siga las instrucciones que se incluyen con el juego.
