WINTER/SPRING PROGRAMS TOWN OF WINDSOR PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS 2018-2019

The Town of Windsor is proud to be offering Preschool Programs to the community since 1995. The Town of Windsor’s Preschool Programs are designed to meet parental expectations by offering programs for young children that provide a foundation for lifetime learning and a strong sense of community. We have openings in Kinderclub 3-5 years. Class hours are from 9am-12pm. Please call the Parks and Recreation office at 838-1260 for more information.

Students will learn authentic dance, music and costumes from various states in Mexico. Please wear comfortable shoes with a strong heel. Must be enrolled in last three sessions to perform in the Spring Recital. If students choose to participate in the Spring Recital, the student will either purchase a costume or rent one for $5 AND participate in one fundraiser during the winter/spring semester. No class on 3/20.

For hundreds of years, sword fighting has captured the imagination of generations of young people. Who hasn’t imagined themselves with sword in hand, fending off hordes of enemies with a quick and daring blade? Youth Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) is a discipline based on hundreds of years of tradition. Students will be taught the basics of the Medieval martial arts with safe and fun foam CO-ED VOLLEYBALL weapons. Classes are designed with Instructor: Mary McQuown the beginner in mind, so no prior Ages: 10-13 years experience is necessary to fully enPlace: Huerta Gymnasium In this class, participants will learn the game of volleyball in a joy it. All equipment is provided for fun and interactive setting. They will learn the fundamentals of free. Wear T-shirts, sweats or volleyball: serving, passing, setting, and hitting. These skills shorts, and tennis or running shoes. Bring a water bottle.
