By strolling through its streets we can contemplate examples of everything from native Canary Island architecture to works belonging to the eclecticism of the early 20th century.

ZONA RAMBLA In this zone we can appreciate the great urban development the city underwent from the late nineteenth to the early twentieth century as a result of the socioeconomic climate of the time.

PLACES OF INTEREST: RAMBLA DE SANTA CRUZ With its central tree-lined promenade, this is the largest avenue in the Canary Islands. Along the Rambla you can see many of the sculptures from the First International Street Sculpture Exhibition.

The route follows this street, which begins in Plaza de Candelaria and ends at Plaza Weyler. RAMBLA SHOPPING ROUTE: Route that takes in the city’s two ramblas (boulevards), where you will find a wide range of businesses to suit all tastes: clothing, footwear, houseware, jewellery, or bars and restaurants. The route goes from Plaza Weyler to Rambla de Santa Cruz and runs the length of Rambla de Pulido and includes nearby streets. And as you stroll along the Rambla de Santa Cruz you can enjoy a great open air sculpture exhibition, making your shopping trip an enjoyable cultural outing. You can reach the route on foot from Plaza Weyler, by tram or on the Tour Bus.

The Santa Cruz sightseeing bus follows a route that takes approximately one hour, with thirteen stops that take in the city’s main sights. The ticket is valid for 24 hours, during which time you can get on and off the bus as many times as you want. Inside the bus we will provide you with headphones to listen to the audio guide, which is available in 7 languages (Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Russian) with a version for children also available. The ticket price also includes guided tours, entry to the major attractions of the city, and other promotions.
