DEIC Minutes Call to Order: Mrs. Leticia Cadena called the meeting to order on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 3:30 pm in the Manuel Guerra Auditorium.

Mrs. Leticia Cadena welcomed the members back from the Christmas holiday and to the meeting. Mrs. Diaz went over the Third Six Weeks results emphasizing the accountable areas, Level III, higher level of higher performing students and the need to remain focused on these. The results for both middle schools are pending, as are High School’s due to results not being finalized. Index Results were also reviewed. Mrs. Leticia Cadena reviewed the LEP scores for the Third Six Weeks. Mr. Martinez gave a brief overview of the 2017-2018 academic calendar and met with the Calendar Committee. Mr. Noe Guzman explained the New State Accountability System (HB 2804) focusing on each of the Domains. The campus and district ratings using 2015-2016 data were also shared.

Adjournment: Meeting ended approximately at 4:10 and Mrs. Cadena thanked the members for attending and adjourned the meeting. Next meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in the Manuel Guerra Auditorium at 3:30 p.m.
