Funcionamiento El movimiento del tornillo provee la agitación ideal para un óptimo lavado, recuperación de arena fina y su avance y salida por la descarga superior. El agua y las partículas muy finas, desbordan por el extenso borde de derrame que ocupa ambos lados ampliados y el frente del sector inferior, permitiendo el máximo aprovechamiento de finos. Para obtener menos finos, se reduce la longitud de derrame retirando la compuerta del frente inferior. El dispositivo de hizaje permite en el caso de una parada imprevista, evacuar la masa depositada en el fondo, lo que se logra mediante un aparejo a cadena, al levantar y bajar gradualmente el tornillo en funcionamiento.

Reducing the overflow length by removing the sliding door from the front, we get a smaller quantity of fine sand. In case of an unexpected stop, the lift mechanism permits through a chain hoist, to raise and then gradually lower the screw that is already functioning to empty the mass deposited on the bottom.
