(ENGLISH VERSION) What is Coffee Time? Coffee Time is a free tutoring service for students who are struggling with their courses in English at Los Andes. Several tutors will be available every day to offer help on a wide range of topics. We want to help you with your immediate needs (Have a paper due?), but we also want to help you develop skills that can benefit you long-term! Some of our specialties include: reading skills (comprehension, vocabulary-building), writing skills (proof reading texts, grammar, cohesion), and speaking skills (presentation practice, pronunciation). What does Coffee Time NOT do? We are delighted to help with most tasks; however, the tutors are NOT translators, and they will NOT write your paper for you! Our job is to GUIDE your work, not DO your work. Also remember that Coffee Time is NOT a structured course – please come with reasonable expectations about what can be achieved in your session. You are very welcome to return as many times as you like! Who is Coffee Time For? We welcome ALL students (undergraduate, graduate, or administrative) that would like help with tasks in English. Students may be currently enrolled in an English class, or enrolled in courses that require the use of English. In addition, we especially invite students from English levels 1, 2, and 3, and scholarship students. Who are the tutors? Our tutors are motivated and talented undergraduate students from a variety of programs. Each of them has a high level of English, and has attended workshops on how to give productive help. Two tutors will be available during Coffee Time hours. How does it work? Just show up! Tutors will be waiting for you in the Coffee Time room. They will ask you for some basic information, and then you tell them what kind of practice you are looking for! Each tutoring session is one hour maximum. We recommend that you bring materials from your class so that the tutors can see exactly what the problem is! The tutors also have other resources available to help you if needed. Where is it? Edificio Franco, Sala GB-404. When is it? Coffee Time happens every day during the semester! There are two sessions: 10:30am-1:30pm, and 3:30pm-6:30pm

(VERSIÓN EN ESPAÑOL) ¿Qué es Coffee Time? ¿A quién va dirigido el Coffee Time? ¿Cómo funciona el Coffee Time?
