On January 13 A lberto Bendinguer, M arcelo and G abriel A guilar, P etra Friedrich, M arcelo Pérez, A rgentines, and I made the second ascent of the n o rth ­ east face of the highest summit, the Pico Internacional, of E l T ronador (3350 meters, 10,991 feet), above Bariloche. W e m ade the climb from the O tto Meiling H ut. The principal difficulties were a rock band below the summit. This was partially covered with ice, w hich frequently fell off .
