disciple not just in words but also in action – by our very lives with whomever we encounter. To respond guided by the Spirit that people experience and see the fruits the presence of God in our lives. My hope and prayer is that we do not let a day pass without lifting up someone and sharing with them the love of God.

Family, God be with us always.

Last night, 26th of January, our Knights of Columbus Chapters served as the host parish for the Clergy Night. This is a way by which those who were called and ordained to serve are honored to a fellowship dinner. On behalf of our Bishops and my brother priests, I thank you for making the time and effort to have this memorable night. God bless and take care.

Today we hear how our Lord Jesus clearly reveals his program in life. He quotes the Prophet Isaiah’s revelation about the Messiah and the manifestations of the Good News. It is a liberation that directly affects the lives of the people who encounter the Son of God: Glad tidings to the poor, liberty to captives, recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go Love and prayers, free and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord. The four Gospels is an inspired account and a collection of the living memories of each redemptive encounter Fr. Thomas Paul K. Naval with Jesus Christ. Last January 16th we had an opportunity to open the floodgates of our gift to hope, to be inspired and to be challenged in the Dream Event. While nature unleashed the torrents of rain – it did not dampen the resolve of members of our Parish Family to actively engage in this life-changing experience. However, only those who persevere and continue the journey will reap the fulfillment of a dream or dreams realized bring and that is profound joy. What have we done to begin making the necessary steps to make our dreams become real? We are reminded how our Parish Family benefits if we truly become the best versions of ourselves. JMJ Our Lord Jesus in sharing with us some of the ways we can share in His Mission as the Son of God is asking us to dream with Him that we can be evangelizers – witnesses of the Good News. We have in our capabilities what it takes to make it a real grace-filled experience to one who needs to experience the Kerygma: “that God loves them unconditionally and will support them with His grace that we transform into better versions of themselves.” The first month of the year is almost over and we have a range of opportunities to be engaged in our faith. It all starts with fortifying our moments of prayer and encounter with Jesus in our hearts. To make plans on intentionally becoming a

Dios bendiga y cuide. Con amor y mis oraciones,

P. Thomas Paul K. Naval

Again, this year our diocese is providing opportunities for us to share our resources through the PSA “We Are One, Living the Gospel Message” campaign. This annual campaign supports diocesan ministries in many ways. Please look for a letter from Father Thomas in the mail during the first week of February with information on the PSA. This year our Parish’s share of the costs of these ministries is $133,000; donations received over that amount will be returned to the Parish for our building fund needs and parish projects.
