January 31, 2016 Important Information Regarding Your Tithing We are able to track weekly donations only when our parishioners use their envelopes or utilize electronic fund transfer through ParishPay. Loose cash or checks do not get posted to our database. To have your tithing documented, especially for tax purposes, please be sure to use either the envelopes or ParishPay so we may properly record your contribution to the parish. When including a check in the donation envelope, please write your envelope number (which is also your Parish ID number) in the memo line of your check, as well as list the check number on the envelope. Thank you for your assistance and God bless you for your continued generosity.

Building Fund Tithing Envelopes For those parishioners who receive tithing envelopes, you have probably noticed an additional monthly Building Fund envelope included in your packets. Discussed and approved by the parish’s Finance Council, Fr. Thomas has authorized these nonobligatory donation envelopes to be used, by those who wish to do so, strictly for ongoing facility projects and maintenance. All ongoing maintenance and projects have approval by the Pastoral Council and the Finance Council before they are implemented.

We invite you to try ParishPay to make your monthly parish contributions. Convenient, Automatic, Consistent! Enroll and manage your account online using your Checking, Savings, MasterCard, Visa, Amex or Discover. Visit www.parishpay.com or call the Parish Office at 949-951-8599 for assistance. We can enroll you in just a few minutes.

Foreign Currency and Tithing

St. Vincent de Paul Second Collection

From time to time we receive foreign currency in our Sunday collection. Unfortunately, we are not able to deposit foreign monies with our bank. We hate to throw away currency just because it is of no use to the parish when we know it has value elsewhere, so we ask you to please refrain from contributing with foreign coin. We appreciate our parishioner’s time, talent and U.S. treasure!

January 30th and 31st

Financial Statements In an effort to save the cost of postage, end of the year tax statements that are requested will be emailed to you or will be available for pick up in the Reception Office. This would be a good time to update or add your email contact information. Financial contribution statements for 2015 will be processed only if you have used weekly envelopes. To request a statement, call the office at 949-951-8599 or email Shirley Burgos at: [email protected].

Today we are having a second collection for Santiago’s St. Vincent de Paul ministry. 100% of your generous donations help our parishioners and their families in financial need, within the church’s boundaries. We continue to assist our parish families in crisis with rental and utility assistance, but the need is great and continues to grow. Thank you for your generous support in the past. We cannot operate without you.
