Happy Easter! I wish you a very blessed Easter season. I want to say a big thank you to everyone that helped with preparing for this Easter and for helping in the Triduum, Palm Sunday and the season of Lent. There have been numerous people involved in the liturgy and music ministries, the Stations and Soup Suppers, Lent prayer opportunities, Holy Hours and Adoration, social outreach ministries, etc. We witnessed Christ in so many ways. He is truly alive at SJV!

¡Feliz Pascua de Resurrección! Les deseo a todos una feliz temporada de Pascua. Quiero agradecer a todos los que ayudaron a prepararnos para esta Pascua y que asistieron con el Triduo, el Domingo de Ramos y la Cuaresma en general. Fueron muchas las personas involucradas en los ministerios de liturgia y música, el Vía Crucis, la Cena de Sopas, las diferentes oportunidades para orar en la Cuaresma, las Horas Santas y Adoración, ministerios de divulgación social, etc. Hemos sido testigos de la presencia de Cristo en muchas maneras. ¡Él está verdaderamente vivo en SJV!

I know many of you watched the Forgiven series on Formed and have given me powerful feedback about it and the numerous resources on Formed. I have posted in our Formed “community page” recommending Presence: The Mystery of the Eucharist series and Symbolon: The Catholic Faith Explained series (available in English and Spanish). These are series recommended by the Augustine Institute as good series to do after Forgiven. Remember, all of the “on-demand” resources on Formed are free for you to access with our parish subscription. If you haven’t signed on to Formed yet, please see instructions within this bulletin or pick up an instruction card at the media kiosk in the Festival Room. Please note that the parish office is be closed on Easter Monday. Here is an Easter prayer I wanted to share: Lord, the resurrection of Your Son has given us new life and renewed hope. Help us to live as new people in pursuit of the Christian ideal. Grant us wisdom to know what we must do, the will to want to do it, the courage to undertake it, the perseverance to continue to do it, and the strength to complete it. Amen.

Muchos de ustedes han visto la serie "Forgiven" en el Programa "Formed" y me han comunicado su satisfacción con "Forgiven" y con los numerosos recursos en " Formed". He publicado en la "Página de la Comunidad" mi recomendación del Programa "Presencia: El Misterio de la Eucaristía" y de la serie "Symbolon: La Fe Católica Explicada" (disponibles en inglés y en español). Estas series están recomendadas por el Augustine Institute como apropiadas para completar después de "Forgiven". Recuerde, todos los recursos "on demand" en "Formed" son gratuitos a través de la suscripción de la Parroquia. Si aún no se ha registrado en "Formed", siga las instrucciones que encontrará en este Boletín o recoja una tarjeta de instrucciones en el quiosco de medios en el Festival Room. La Oficina Parroquial permanecerá cerrada el Lunes de Pascua. Comparto esta oración de Pascua: "Señor, la resurrección de Tu Hijo nos ha dado nueva vida y ha renovado nuestra esperanza. Ayúdanos a vivir como personas nuevas en pos del ideal cristiano. Danos sabiduría para saber lo que debemos hacer, la voluntad de querer hacerlo, el valor para emprenderlo, la perseverancia para continuar haciéndolo y la fortaleza para terminarlo". Amén.
